Ten songs for the dead. (Well, eleven if you count the music box intro.) Ten years ago, we put out an album we wrote in a cabin located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. We had no idea, however, what would happen when we released it into the world. The album, Bury A Dream, changed the trajectory of our lives and took us to places we never could have dreamed of. Yet, despite all of the amazing things this album allowed us to accomplish, there was always one thing left on our bucket list - to own this special project on vinyl.

Ten years later, we are excited to present to you Bury A Dream on beautiful 180-gram, three color splatter vinyl. Pressing this album was no small feat -- we had to search for and professionally restore the last remaining hard drive that had the audio files of the original recordings. We then had our trumpet player, Juan Lopez, remix the entire record. We had to sell crypto donated to us in 2013 by an amazing fan (shout out Bud!) to partially fund the pressing. Finally, we re-mastered the tracks for vinyl for the first time ever. In our opinion, this album has never sounded better and we can’t wait for yall to hear it on wax.

This album pressing has been a labor of love, and completely self-funded. We hope to break even, and maybe do something like this for another album down the road. But to celebrate the release, we announced a show on 9/24 at the Mohawk in Austin. And what did yall crazy people do? Sold it out in 5 days!!! We’re now happy to announce a second additional show on Friday 9/23 at Mohawk. We’ll be playing all the songs from Bury A Dream and all the classics. We would love to see you there. What better way to celebrate these songs for the dead than with happy humans screaming the words right back at us. This has all happened before, it will happen again.
